WARNING: Only use this command if you wish to completely erase and reformat the internal hard drive in your SCRIBE or SERVIO.

Windows: <code>"%programfiles%\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe" <device id> set /hdd/debug format_hdd</code>
Mac/Linux: <code>hdhomerun_config <device id> set /hdd/debug format_hdd</code>


After issuing the command the HDHomeRun will automatically reboot and initialize the hard drive. 

**Notes:**
  * The green Ethernet LED will flash rapidly to indicate the hard drive is being initialized.
  * The process takes about 15 seconds per TB of drive capacity.
