Setting up DVR storage on Asustor

Requirements

Before you continue, make sure you have the following:

Installing the HDHomeRun DVR

Step 1

Download the latest HDHomeRun ASUSTOR package with your web browser:

Step 2

  1. Log into the ASUSTOR NAS using your web browser
  2. Click on “App Center”

Step 3

  1. Click on “Management” in the lower left corner of the App Center window
  2. Then click on the “Manual Install” tab

Step 4

  1. Click on the “Browse” button to select the .apk file you downloaded in Step 1. If you are not sure where the file is, it is most likely in your computer's “Downloads” folder.
  2. Then click “Upload”

Step 5

  1. An “About this app” window will open
  2. Click “Next”

Step 6

  1. Check off the option for “I understand the risks associated with installing unverified Apps”
  2. Then click “Install”
