The official HDHomeRun app is not currently available for the Apple TV. There are a number of third party options that can be used instead.

Please note, this page is for the convenience of our customers. As these are programs maintained by third parties, Silicondust cannot guarantee their operation or performance.

VLC:

  • Free. View live channels as a UPnP/DLNA source. No guide data, no live pausing, no DVR.

Channels:

  • Paid. View live channels with detailed guide data and an easy-to-use interface. Channels also offers their own DVR service for a subscription fee (not compatible with SCRIBE or SERVIO).

MrMC:

  • Paid. View live channels with detailed guide data and an easy-to-use interface. Requires an initial setup, but is very easy to use after that. Trial version available. No DVR, no live TV pausing.

InstaTV:

  • Paid.

OPlayer:

  • Paid. View live channels as a UPnP/DLNA source. No guide data, no live pausing, no DVR.
