Reboot loop problem with old firmware
Affected models & firmware:
- HDHomeRun PRIME running 20130117 or older firmware.
- HDHomeRun DUAL running 20141124 or older firmware.
Solution:
- Download the latest software:
- Unplug the WAN port on your home router so internet goes down (but your home network is still working). The HDHomeRun should now stay up correctly.
- Run the installer so it upgrades the firmware in the HDHomeRun.
- Attach the WAN port again so internet comes back.
